Young People Cohort

  • The purpose of this Young People Cohort is to provide an immersive learning experience at the conference designed for young people to deepen their understanding of peace and justice ministry. Due to a generous grant, the cost is $100 per member of the cohort. This price includes meals during the conference, but does not include lodging.
    The goals for the Young People Cohort are that members will learn the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, see how the Christian faith can respond, and have opportunities to discuss with Palestinian and American peers how they are being impacted.

    Details & Cost:

    • The conference will take place Monday, October 15 through Thursday, October 18.
    • It will be held at the Tower Hotel in Oklahoma City, where cohort members will stay during the conference.

    Application Process:

    • Applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 25 at the start of the conference.
    • Complete Online Registration form below or click here for the a pdf version which must be filled out and sent to the Oklahoma United Methodist Conference Office. All applications must be submitted online, via email, or regular mail by August 31.
